Durable and Strong PU Leather, oil and water proof, not cheap vinyl. PU is widely used in leather sofa and PVC vinyl is mainly used in bathroom floor tile, do yourself a favor, demand a straight answer from your seller what they use for their surface material before you buy it.
We use #33 high density, small cell foam under the PU leather, others use #18 foam, the higher the number in the foam, the firmer the massage table and the longer the table will last, this is just like mattress, you want to have it firm.

Get the 3" Feb 06, 2011

My wife and I love this table; we've already used it three times. The price was amazing, so I was a bit cautious, but this is a high quality table with all the bells and whistles. All you need to add is some candles Flameless Candles; LED Candles with Remote Control, Round Pillar Real Wax Candles, 3-inch, 4-inch, 5-inch and 6-inch candles set of 4 and music Piano Massage Music. I wouldn't go less than 3" though for the mattress, as this was perfectly firm. A high-thread-count twin bottom sheet fits perfectly. It's rare nowadays to get a true value, but this is definitely one of those.

This is my first massage table which I bought for my wife because frankly it's going to be cheaper than buying her massages.
So far I've just given her a 20-minute "trial massage", and this table is rock solid. There is absolutely no movement to it even if I put my weight into the massage. Setup is ridiculously easy. Just unclasp a couple of snap-hooks and unfold the table. The headrest and arm rests slide in, and store easily inside the table when folded away.
This table is looooooong. I am 6 feet tall, and there is still a foot of table length left when I lie on it flat out using the head cradle. So if you are tall, definitely go for this table. I have only found one place that sells fitted sheets for this length (Innerpeace brand). Also, I found the table to be plenty wide even without the attachable arm pads. I'll only put the pads on if I'm going to do arm work with the back massage.
The 3" foam is firm but not uncomfortably so. The face cradle could use a bit more rounded or softer foam, but it is comfortable enough for a 30 minute massage. And although I haven't tried using the adjustable back rest (I thought it was a leg-lifting adjustment), it doesn't seem like it would be sturdy enough to use. I'll have to give it a try and update my review.
The only negative I have to give so far is that I received a black table instead of the cream colored one I ordered. But I would have ordered the black color if given the choice, so it all worked out.
Over all, I can't imagine finding a better deal than this table. My wife guessed that, had I bought this table on clearance, I still would have spent at least $150. I'll let her keep thinking that.

I went ahead and bought this after reading all the reviews.....I have to say I agree with those who really love it. The padding is awesome, it is ultra sturdy, a bit on the heavier side but I am strong so it doesn't bother me. I love the cream color I bought...it looks very classy. I love it! Although it DID come with a bit of mold on the wood part..I had to clean with disinfectant but I think it had been in storage for a very long time (it was wrapped in plastic). It is gone now and didn't interfere with quality.

Great table. Slightly heavy for portable but folds up easy and is durable, nice looking. I'm glad I spent the few dollars extra for the 3" padding v/s the 2" padding. Huge difference in quality.

For this price how can you beat it? For the price of a massage you get the table too! Have only used it twice, and I'm no pro, but easy to set up & take down, three inch pad,. . . Oh hell! Just buy it and try it - you got nothing to lose.
